UPPCL seeks Rs 3,744 crore to cover discoms losses under RDSS
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is seeking an additional Rs 3,744.45 crore to cover losses from its five distribution companies under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme. This request follows a Union government report commending UP for a 25% debt reduction over five years, credited to RDSS reforms. UPPCL also requested Rs 100 crore for SGST reimbursement related to RDSS projects.
