US sisters take neighbours to court over boundary fences, lose case and face legal fees

Two sisters in Washington, US, lost a property dispute involving fences on both sides of their home after a survey revealed discrepancies in the boundary lines. The Washington Court of Appeals upheld rulings favouring both neighbours, including an order to remove a fence encroaching on one neighbour's land. The court also upheld legal-fee awards and granted the neighbours additional fees for the appeal.
