Villagers lynch suspected cattle thief in Godda district
A 40-year-old man, Pappu Ansari, was tragically beaten to death by villagers in Godda district on suspicion of cattle theft. Caught allegedly red-handed, Ansari was reportedly thrashed with sticks and rods. Police have recovered the body and are investigating, with the SP indicating swift arrests are likely.
