West Bengal stops potato stock outflow to cool down prices
The Bengal government has halted the export of state-grown potatoes to curb rising prices. This decision follows Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's warning against profiteering. Although prices have begun to dip, the government will maintain this measure until further review. Ample potato stockpiles are available, ensuring supply until the next harvest.
