Wheels of Wellness ride flags off from Kolkata to Ladakh for HPV awareness
The Wheels of Wellness project launched a motorcycle rally on September 3, 2026. This 5,200 km journey aimed to raise cervical cancer and HPV vaccination awareness. Twenty riders traveled from Kolkata to Ladakh and back, promoting preventive health messages. The campaign sought to challenge stigma and encourage timely vaccination among adolescent girls. This initiative aligns with the World Health Organization's cervical cancer elimination strategy.
