Who was Chongtham Vikram, Manipuri musician killed in Delhi attack; cousin of BAFTA-winning ‘Boong’ director
Chongtham Vikram Singh, a 55-year-old Manipuri musician, died after being beaten outside his Delhi home. He had gone downstairs to object to a group of men creating a disturbance. His family found him in a semi-conscious state and he was rushed to the hospital. Doctors found his condition too critical for surgery and he passed away. Manipuri associations and student groups are protesting and demanding justice for the musician.
