Will move EC if Sanjay Kumar Verma's appointment is temporary: Nana Patole
Sanjay Kumar Verma replaced Rashmi Shukla as DGP. The state sent Shukla on compulsory leave following the Election Commission's orders. Congress and other opposition leaders had complained of bias against Shukla. Verma, who previously investigated the Govind Pansare murder case, will be DGP until November 26. The Congress party stated it will approach the EC against Verma's appointment.
