Wine shop owner loses life to accidental gunfire in Karnataka
Ponnachettira Mithra Chengappa, 49, owner of a wine shop in Cherambane, died after a misfiring incident with his single-barrel gun. The gun accidentally discharged when Chengappa placed it on his scooter to buy milk, causing fatal injuries. Police have ruled out foul play, confirming it as an accidental death.
