‘Suicide pact over loan torture’: Pune man kills 10-year-old son, survives; wife dies
A 45-year-old pharmacy store owner in Pune, harassed by money lenders, entered a suicide pact with his wife after allegedly killing their 10-year-old son. The wife did not survive, while the husband was arrested. Three money lenders were also arrested on charges including abetment and illegal lending. Financial distress drove the family to this tragedy.
