10 booked for meat sale sans licence near Varanasi temple
FIRs have been registered against meat shops violating trading norms within 2km of the Kashi Vishwanath temple. The Varanasi Municipal Corporation acted following complaints about trading without licenses and unhygienic conditions. A meeting is expected to resolve the relocation issues of affected meat sellers.
