Parents find IIT-Kharagpur student hanging in campus hostel room
A 21-year-old IIT Kharagpur student, Shaon Malik, described as 'academically gifted,' died of suspected suicide in his hostel room. Malik, a third-year electrical engineering student, was discovered by his parents, who regularly visited him. The police are investigating the case and probing all angles.
