After 7 years, Bengaluru metro's extended Green Line opens today
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has commenced commercial operations on the 3.1-km extended Green Line from Nagasandra to Madavara. This extension, costing Rs 1168 crore, benefits commuters along Tumakuru Road and visitors to BIEC. The opening, following public pressure and delays, increases Namma Metro's operational network to 77km with 69 stations.
