Assam mine collapse: Indian Army, NDRF recover 3rd body; rescue ops continue for trapped miners
The joint rescue team recovered a third body from the flooded rat-hole coal mine in Assam’s Dima Hasao district. Earlier, two other bodies were retrieved, and eight miners are still trapped. The mine, operating illegally, collapsed last week. Rescue teams, including the NDRF, Indian Army, and Coal India, continue their efforts, aided by around-the-clock dewatering operations.
