Gujarat high court grants bail to accused in prison break attempt case
The Gujarat High Court has granted bail to Saquib Nisar Shaikh in the 2013 Sabarmati prison break attempt case. Shaikh had been in jail for 11 years for this offence. The court cited parity and the prolonged trial duration as reasons. Earlier, other co-accused in the case had also been granted bail.
