‘Why are you wearing shorts?’ 8 slap tourists at Sinhagad Fort; case filed
Pune Rural police have initiated a case against eight individuals associated with a right-wing group after they allegedly assaulted four groups of tourists at Sinhagad Fort. The accused confronted tourists over their choice of clothing, particularly shorts, and their decision to take photographs. In a troubling incident, one tourist was slapped, and his wife was forcibly dragged. Authorities are currently on the hunt for the suspects, which include three women.
