A Texas man turned 10 acres into a $100,000-a-year glamping business with just $12,000 down
Garrett Brown launched Cameron Ranch Glamping on a picturesque 10-acre plot in Houston, beginning with a minimal budget. He cleverly applied land hacking methods that streamlined utility connections while steering clear of complicated planning processes. The business flourished initially with a geodome, later evolving through zero-cost revenue-sharing arrangements. Rather than relying on third-party bookings, he focused on direct guest engagement, chronicling his experiences in his book, The Glamping Investor.
