Actress Kasturi arrested in Hyderabad for hate speech
Actress Kasturi Shankar, facing arrest for hate speech against Telugu speakers in Tamil Nadu, was apprehended in Hyderabad on Saturday. Chennai police located and detained Shankar after she went into hiding following the controversial remarks. Although the actress later apologized, her plea for relief was dismissed by the Madras High Court.
