Chennai braces for Cyclone Fengal: EMRI sets up control centre in Pudukottai for uninterrupted emergency services
In response to Cyclone Fengal, the 108 Emergency Medical Services (EMRI) has activated a control centre in Pudukottai to ensure continuous emergency services during disruptions in Chennai. Thirty trained personnel will manage emergency calls, and measures have been taken to keep staff on-site and equipped. Ambulance pilots are prepared for rescue operations with necessary tools and maintained vehicles.
