Excise department seizes liquor worth over Rs 7 lakh from SUV in Maharashtra's Palghar
State excise officials in Palghar, Maharashtra intercepted an SUV carrying foreign liquor and beer worth over Rs 7 lakh near Warwada village. The seizure included more than 579 litres of alcohol banned for sale in Maharashtra and nearby Union Territories. While the driver escaped, authorities managed to confiscate both the vehicle and its illicit cargo.
