IAF staffer scans QR code for payment, loses Rs 43,000 to fraudster
An Indian Air Force employee lost Rs 43,000 to a cybercriminal posing as a digital payment app customer care representative. After failing to contact official support, the victim followed instructions to download a remote access app and click an APK link, enabling the fraudster to drain his account.
