IIT-Madras’s AI hub to offer translation of Parliament debates in 22 languages
IIT Madras is developing AI to translate Parliament debates into 22 Indian languages in real time, starting with a few languages and a short delay. This initiative aims to make parliamentary proceedings accessible to a wider audience. The project also includes translating Supreme Court judgments and automating legal processes using AI, eventually extending to lower courts.
