Gujarat's milk production has surged by 11.96 million metric tonnes in 22 years, achieving an annual output of 17.28 million metric tonnes. This impressive growth contributes 7.49% to India's total, boosting per capita milk availability from 291 grams to 670 grams daily. Amul Federation processes and distributes this milk across India and 50 other countries.
