Maharashtra FDA seized prohibited gutkha valued at over Rs 1.13 crore. Officials intercepted a truck carrying the illegal tobacco products after a pursuit. The driver and several alleged owners and transporters were subsequently arrested. The administration requested police to investigate for stringent MCOCA action. This action targets an organized and continuous illegal trade posing public health risks.
