Meet Ratnaboli Ghosh, the retired teacher who paints alpanas at strangers who wakeup to surprise art
Ratnaboli Ghosh is a retired teacher from Kolkata who paints alpanas on strangers' doorsteps. This project began after a neighbor encouraged her to create these traditional artworks anonymously. Ghosh travels to various neighborhoods and paints, often finishing before residents notice her work. The positive reactions from passersby motivate her to continue this artistic tradition. She hopes to make Kolkata more beautiful through her contributions for years to come.
