Why a square in Poland is named after an Indian maharaja

Maharaja Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja, affectionately called Jam Sahib, became a beacon of hope for Polish children escaping the horrors of World War II. Many later struggled to return to a transformed Poland post-war.
