Noida airport renamed Narendra Modi International Airport after UP Cabinet nod

The Noida International Airport located in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, has officially been designated as Narendra Modi International Airport. The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved this name change after discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This airport is expected to enhance air connectivity for both the Delhi-NCR region and western Uttar Pradesh, thereby fostering economic development and tourism growth. Phase-wise facilities are in development to handle the anticipated rise in passenger numbers.
