Prayagraj enhances train operations with advanced electronic interlocking system for Mahakumbh 2025
North Central Railway has implemented a new electronic interlocking system at Prayagraj Junction and Prayagraj Rambagh, enabling the operation of approximately 992 trains during Mahakumbh 2025. This system will provide 825 routes for improved flexibility and efficiency in train movement, ensuring seamless operations for the millions of devotees expected to attend the religious gathering.
