Texas opens 3,000-acre state park along the Colorado River with $1 billion expansion fund
Post Oak Ridge has officially opened, marking Texas' latest state park. Spanning over 3,000 acres, it features two hiking trails along four miles of scenic routes. Plans for future camping facilities and river access are on track for completion by 2029. Input from the community has been vital in guiding the park's development, as part of a larger effort to expand public outdoor spaces across Texas.
