Thane and Mira-Bhayender to get first pet crematoriums, announces cabinet minister Pratap Sarnaik
Thane city and Mira-Bhayender will soon have their first pet crematoriums. Six crematoriums are being upgraded to include facilities for pet animals. The government approved the plan, costing Rs 26 lakhs each. These new facilities are expected to be operational in a few months. Presently, residents travel to other cities for pet cremation.
