Vinod Jakhar appointed NSUI national president
Vinod Jakhar has been appointed as the new national president of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress. The appointment was announced by party general secretary KC Venugopal, with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge making the decision. Jakhar, from Rajasthan, takes over from outgoing president Varun Choudhary.
