Ex-Congress MLA detained for staging dharna outside defector councillor’s house, released
Former Congress MLA Rajinder Beri was detained while leading a protest outside the residences of councilors who joined AAP after winning on a Congress ticket. The protests, involving Congress workers, led to police intervention. No case was filed, and Beri was released after an hour. AAP is alleged to be approaching other Congress councilors.
