ASI decodes ancient Sanskrit inscriptions from Nepal and Vietnam
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) deciphered two Sanskrit inscriptions. One, from a 3rd-century ring found in Vietnam, showcases the spread of Brahmi script. The other, a 6th-century inscription on a Shivling in Nepal, mentions Bhimagupta and Devagupta, likely of the Lichhavi dynasty, and highlights India's cultural influence in the region.
